Schools need to have read and understood these Terms of Use before signing up for a SchoolWebsite.com.au solution.

1. SchoolWebsites.com.au is a database driven application that allows schools to have an updateable website. As such all content is database driven and therefore exists on the SchoolWebsites.com.au server.
2. Copyright of content provided by schools belongs to schools. However because of the nature of this database application and the template design options, all other copyright remains with SchoolWebsites.com.au c/o ICA Solutions.
3. Due to the nature of this database application, schools will be able to access their website via a link pertaining specifically to that school. When users type in the domain name for a school e.g www.yourschoolname.com.au or www.yourschool-p.schools.edu.au, they will be redirected seamlessly to your school website on SchoolWebsites.com.au. There will also be a Click to Enter visible in case the redirection is hindered.
4. Schools when signing up for a SchoolWebsite.com.au solution need to understand that they are paying a fee for the initial cost of the site and then an ongoing annual fee which covers the cost of hosting, support and the use of the Content Management System (Administration Centre).
5. Although we will provide during and after hours phone support, excess website support may incur a fee especially with regard to inputting school content.
6. SchoolWebsites.com.au recommends that a school sign up for a website for a minimum of 3 years to make the application worthwhile. Fees are payable up front annually and are nonrefundable. If a school wishes to discontinue within the recommended 3 years then we would require notice in writing. Schools will continue to be invoiced annually (even after the 3 years) until we are told otherwise either by phone or in writing.
7. If a school decides to discontinue with SchoolWebsites.com.au, content will be accessible via the website by copying and pasting from the website in the Internet Browser.
8. Schools will be invoiced upon signing up for a School Website. Payment for the initial cost of the website ($770 including GST) and the first year hosting / support ($385 including GST) will be due within 14 days, payable by cheque, money order or direct deposit. These fees are nonrefundable.
9. Schools are allocated 100mb of web space and 1GB of data transfer per month. Excess space or data transfer may incur a fee. (To date no school has exceeded this limit).
